Edward Wedler is on a mission -- to organize a successful unicycle event, while attracting tourists to Nova Scotia, to the race and to the on-line website. His background in applied science and engineering with focus on mapping technologies, and supervision of many technical projects has prepared him for organizing the race. His right-brain creativity and interest in multimedia, web design, writing and art, and collaboration on many author events and publisher projects, has prepared him for thinking outside the box.

Nathan Hoover
has been unicycling for 10 years. He has helped organize unicycle events in several US states, and many countries. He has unicycled in over 20 countries and is an expert in long distance unicycle touring. His energy and experience will be invaluable in planning and organizing the racing details for RTL. As Nathan is planning on riding in the event, he will step down from the organizing team just prior to the race.

Andy Cotter has been unicycling for 20 years. He was on the organizing committee for seven International Unicycle Conventions and thirteen USA National conventions. In 1999, he led the first group long distance ride in Minnesota, USA. Since then he has participated in six long distance tours with four of them being the main organizer. As Andy is planning on participating in the event, he will step down from the organizing team just prior to the race.

Connie Cotter will be the official racing referee during the event, she has both riding and organizing experience with unicycling. She has been involved with the organization of the North American Unicycling Championship and Convention for the past fifteen years and with the organization of Unicons since 1994. One of her main responsibilities has been Chief Judge for artistic events, but she has been an advisor for other events, including racing.

Maegan Power is the Operations Manager for RTL. Her experience in the 2002 Arctic Winter Games as Manager of Sport and Operations, Iqaluit Nunavut will be a definite asset to RTL. In that sporting event Maegan organized, and was responsible for, all areas of 9 sporting events and athlete care for the largest, international sporting event of the circumpolar north. She managed 57 committees and 800 volunteers in over 40 venues.

Heather LeBlanc owned a private career college, developed educational programs, implemented community economic development projects, organized international trade shows, trade missions, managed projects, festivals, conferences and events. Her experiences working with committees, as a volunteer and as an Executive Director, gives a unique insight to the Ride the Lobster project.
The common denominator is all of Heather's work is having people meet, network and collaborate.  Heather is the Events Manager for Ride The Lobster. Her goal is to create a "community route" from tip to tail of Nova Scotia, promoting Nova Scotia's true spirit.
