By profession, I am a certified public accountant; however on the weekends and when time allows my favorite activity is riding on one wheel. I enjoy all kinds of riding, but in recent years I spend most of my riding time cruising on my big (36" )wheel on the local bike paths or taking to the trails on my 24" mountain unicycle. I enjoy "the myriads of tiny delights" that unicyling provides, the personal challenges, the benefits of vigorous physical activity, and the camaraderie of fellow unicyclists. What a great sport!

Becoming a world champion, three-time national champion and full time performer has not been an easy ride. The whole process began when I received my first unicycle as a Christmas gift at the age of ten and taught myself to ride. Two years later I found a local unicycle club and discovered there was more that could do on a unicycle besides my paper route. Over the next few years, I discovered the thrill of the sport of unicycling. I pursued racing and freestyle events, setting numerous national and world records in each age bracket as a teenager. The life experiences gained from national and world competitions at such a young age have been invaluable. Not content with simply unicycling, I worked on developing my performance skills with extensive training in theatre and physical movement. In 1992, I kicked off my solo-performing career with a tour in Japan. At that time, I began developing what has become a one-of-a-kind performance incorporating inspirational and motivational messages illustrated with world-class unicycling set to high-energy music. Unicycling is now what I do full time with my wife Katie as I perform 'UniShow: one life, one message, one wheel' in venues around the world. This would not be possible without the support of my sponsors Unicycle.com, GU Sports and Operation Mobilization.

I started riding Mountain bikes in 1994, 7 years ago I was at a friends house and he had a unicycle that he was riding and I tried to ride it. From there I was hooked, 2 years later my Wife bought me a 26" Profile Mountain Unicycle for Christmas, that was Five years ago. My Favorite Riding Style is Mountain unicycling. I love riding in the woods and the trails in Moab Utah. I just Love Unicycle riding and can't wait till June.

I'm the team support person and a Level One rider. I am too short and timid to learn to mount a big wheel, but enjoy riding my 24" unicycle. I am married to Scott Arnold and we have raised five unicyclists. Ride the Lobster is how we are celebrating our 30th anniversary!
