My first couple of years unicycling were spent doing freestyle and trials; alongside this I then started to play unicycle hockey, ride cross-country and distance. The thing I enjoy most is mountain unicycling and I combine this with family travelling. I have particularly enjoyed riding in Nepal, Peru, China, New Zealand, France and Norway. Closer to home with distance riding I've unicycled two different coast to coast routes in the UK, ridden 100 miles in a day and, most recently, gone from London to Paris on one wheel. I'm a regular rider in 24hr cross-country races; when I'm not riding I help run a unicycle club and organise national hockey tournaments. My greatest accomplishment will always be teaching my son, Tio, to ride at the age of four - he's now teaching his younger brother Zak!

I work as a community pharmacist and really enjoy being able to help people around me. I used to be a keen climber but lately unicycling has totally taken over from that. My partner and two children are all unicycling now and we are looking forward to the next Unicon in Denmark which is the country I come from. My favorite pasttime is going wrecking with my family and filling the house up with homemade things.

I've been unicycling for about 5 years, first riding Freestyle, then playing Unicycle Hockey, and moving into Mountain Unicycling and Distance Riding. My first real distance ride was the London to Brighton Charity Bike ride in 2005, since then I've completed the Manchester to Blackpool, London to Cambridge and ridden from London to Paris. I've been Mountain Unicycling in the Alps and competed against Mountain Bikes in 24 hour mountain bike races.

I've been an enthusiast, albeit it, two wheeled cyclist for many years and am registered for what will be my 7th consecutive 'etape-du-tour' this July (a mountain stage of the tour de france). I'll leave one wheeled riding to the rest of the team, but am very pleased to be involved as the support person.
