Hi :) My name is Signe. I am 17 years old and have been unicycling since I was 6. Besides studying I do a lot of sport (unicycling, running, fitness) and spent time with my friends. I am really looking forward to sweat during the race ;)

I have been unicycling since i was a kid, mostly freestyle but over the last couple of years i've done some muni and longdistance as well. I work as a music teacher and play double base, guitar and piano. I have a house in a Copenhagen suburb called Glostrup.

I unicycled a bit as a teenager but I did not keep it up for long. I started again as a parent when I wanted to encourage my daughter to not be afraid of riding a bicycle. I figured if Dad was falling all over the place, that she would find it funny. It sort of worked on her, but it got me hooked. Now I ride everywhere and anywhere I can. I take one with me on most business trips. It's fun arguing with the flight staff whether on not I should be charged the normal fee for transporting a bicycle.

A third generation Vancouverite with a reasonably well developed sense of adventure. A 64 year old businessman now retired and living in Qualicum Beach BC who takes great delight in spending time with his two children and four grandchildren exploring the many wonders this world has to offer (and this race is certainly included). Physical activities are a priority mainly through swimming and bike riding with participation in curling, hiking and golf adding to the fun. A seasoned traveler with many RV trips taken (including one that lasted ten months) means a good familiarity with navigation, provisioning and of course cooking. A working lifeguard with all the necessary qualifications including first aid and CPR-C.
