Day 1, I started the ride off with my two team members Dr. Jim Dugue and Jamie Mossengren. (I have not yet received my order for my 36" Coker therefore both days of qualifying I was riding my 29" Uni, my other team members were on 36's) I was able to hang on to the pace of my teammates for the first half of the ride. We also did a few miles of off road Muni cycling. The ride was mapped out from a web site called GeoLadders.com. Jim was using a Garmin GPS and I was using my Cateye Wireless Cycle Computer. At about mile 22 I decided to break from my team members because I was finding it hard to keep up with (2) 36" Cokers. I noticed I was doing 2 complete crank rotations for every 1 they were doing. I decided to take a different rout back that led me into some pretty impressive climbs.
I ended up with 76.7km with a riding time in the saddle of 6 hours and 22 minutes. No head winds, no rain. I finished about 1 hour after my team mates and riding about 5 miles in the dark. My ride was about 2.5km longer than my team mates but took me an hour longer on a 29er. I can't wait for my Coker. I ended up with a final rating of 249 points.

Day 2, I was able to get away with a bit shorter of a ride on the second day. I decided it would be best to do this ride on my own and let my 36" mates ride at their own pace. I mapped out a rout from GeoLadders.com that sent me on a 49.9 km ride with a good amount of steep climbing. This day was pretty rough for the first 2 hours due to saddle sores but I think the nerve endings died down a bit for the last half.
I did no Muni on this day but I did cut through the Strawberry fields in Irvin, CA for just over 1.6km of loose dirt riding. I was in the saddle for 4 hours and 15 minutes. No rain and no headwinds. I also finished in the daylight. With the carry over from the previous day I ended up with a final rating of 166.
