On Sunday, September 2nd 2007 Dan Hansen, Andy Cotter, Joe Lind, and Irene Genelin met at Dan Hansen's place in Minneapolis, MN. We rode to the Coon Rapids Dam by following the Mississippi river, and then rode over the dam and into downtown Osseo. After a Gatorade, banana, and raspberry stop at a grocery store we rode back toward the dam, and then into North East Minneapolis to eat at Pyscho Suzie's. A Tiki bar! with great outdoor seating area. We hopped back on to our unis and headed into downtown Minneapolis taking a break near Mill Ruins Park and the Stone Arch Bridge. Then we crossed the 10th Street Bridge, the bridge closest to the I-35W collapse. We actually had to dismount and push our unis through the crowds of people gawking at the wreckage. Then we headed back to Dan Hansen's where they served us refreshing watermelon. Here are our stats: Distance: 83.58 km Meters climbed: 211 Total Rating: 153
